Private markets investments are long-term in nature and we build our teams with professionals who are focused on taking responsibility for investment outcomes over the long run. Accordingly, Partners Group's Analyst Program entails a two- to three-year commitment.

About the program

The program comprises year-long rotations among Partners Group's four asset classes (Private Equity, Private Debt, Private Infrastructure and Private Real Estate) and the Client Solutions team. Analysts will gain valuable exposure working in collaboration with various teams across the firm globally and gain hands-on experience through the entire investment process. Analysts will undergo a four-week training program to build the necessary skillsets to be successful before starting their first rotation.

What we expect

  • Strong analytical capabilities: Investing in private markets requires professionals who can quickly and comprehensively learn and master new skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills: Our business language is English; however, additional languages are highly valued.
  • A great story: We are especially interested in individuals with compelling life and work experiences.
  • A strong work ethic and a professional demeanor.

Energy and passion: We want professionals who are ready to work hard and positively contribute to our culture and our success.

What we offer

  • On-the-job exposure across a wide range of industries and geographies, rotations in at least two investment departments, the client relations and portfolio management teams. You will gain exposure to all the steps of a private markets transaction – from investment sourcing, assessment and due diligence, to closing and managing the portfolio assets.
  • Regular mentoring from an experienced manager and exposure to senior members of the firm through the course of training and business activities.

The opportunity to be part of a dynamic work environment in a growing company where your contribution matters. Partners Group is a proudly differentiated private markets firm focused on achieving great results for our clients through intense cross-border collaboration. Program participants will regularly interact and work with employees from each of our 20 global offices.

Who can apply

The Global Analyst Program is open to students in the final year of their undergraduate and graduate level studies who have achieved top marks in their discipline. We will accept candidates from any field of study, as long as they can demonstrate a genuine interest in private markets and will consider profiles of candidates with up to one year of relevant working experience and internships.

As an equal opportunity employer, we welcome diversity in our workplace and do not discriminate against applicants on the basis of age, gender, nationality, or any other basis that is inconsistent with our guiding values. We search for applicants within a global talent pool and look for team players who possess determination, resilience, effective communication skills, and the ability to inspire others and think outside the box.
