Infrastructure Partnerships Business Development (6-month internship)

Location:

Baar, CH

We are one of the largest global private markets investment managers, serving over 800 institutional investors worldwide. We have USD 185 billion in assets under management and around 2,000 professionals across 24 offices worldwide. Partners Group is an equal opportunity employer committed to cultural diversity.

What it's about

Join Partners Group’s growing Private Infrastructure team on our new Partners Group Campus in Zug and help accelerate fundraising and client engagement across our Infrastructure product suite. You’ll work closely with investment and Client Solutions colleagues to deliver high-quality, client-ready materials and build AI-enabled workflows that improve speed, consistency, and scalability, without compromising rigor or confidentiality. This internship offers a front-row seat to global private markets fundraising, with the chance to contribute to long-term value creation and (where relevant) sustainability-aligned infrastructure investing.

Key responsibilities:

  • Create and update client-ready materials (pitch decks, one-pagers, partner profiles, meeting briefs) with a strong focus on speed and quality through AI-enabled workflows
  • Build and adapt AI-based tools to ensure data is used consistently across different business development use cases
  • Conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis to support partner/client requests (e.g., track record summaries, comparable examples, synthesizing notes and inputs)
  • Support ongoing reporting and RFP requests by drafting first versions using AI and refining outputs with the team
  • Help improve team efficiency by documenting, standardizing, and automating repeatable tasks (templates, prompts, checklists, first-draft generation, QA routines)
  • Collaborate with senior stakeholders and global colleagues to support fundraising initiatives across the full cycle

What we expect

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in STEM, Computer Science, or Finance/Economics/Business, with strong quantitative skills
  • Demonstrated interest in private markets and infrastructure; prior internship experience is helpful but not required
  • Practical AI/tech fluency: able to use AI tools to draft, summarize, structure research, and improve output quality and speed, applying sound judgment and confidentiality
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn unstructured inputs into clear, well-organized slides and written summaries
  • High attention to detail and commitment to polished deliverables
  • Collaborative, proactive working style; comfortable receiving feedback and iterating quickly
  • Experience with programming languages, particularly Python and SQL
