Investment Operation Specialist - Vendor management

We are seeking an Investment Operations Specialist to join our Investment Platform Services team in Zug, with a focus on managing relationships with our investment data service providers and expert networks. You will be responsible for vendor assessments, contract negotiations, adherence to internal guidelines, and ensuring cost discipline. In addition, a portion of your time will be dedicated to supporting the investment committee process and/or the rollout of new CRM functionalities.
This role plays an important part in ensuring our investment teams have access to the right data and digital tools to support their decision-making. Furthermore, you will have cross-functional exposure, working across Investments, Technology, Finance, and Legal in a small, hands-on team, where your contributions will be visible and have direct impact. The role is well suited for someone with strong stakeholder and negotiation skills, a service mindset, and a genuine interest in data and technology.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary contact for all investment data vendors and expert networks
- Lead contract negotiations, renewals, and vendor evaluations/performance monitoring, including onboarding of new providers and offboarding where necessary
- Ensure adherence to the Service Provider Management Framework and Finance guidelines, while maintaining cost discipline
- Maintain a clear understanding of investment team data needs and collaborate closely with Investments, Technology, Finance, and Legal to ensure those needs are met
- Support the investment committee process and contribute to continuously improving our CRM system
- 2–4 years of experience in investment operations, vendor management, or a related field, ideally within the financial services sector
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills with a proactive, solution-driven mindset
- Organized and analytical, comfortable managing multiple priorities in a high-paced environment
- Genuine interest in investment data and digital tools
- Fluency in English required, German is a plus
