We are looking for an accomplished professional to join our Regulatory Reporting team in our Zug office. The team leads the firm-wide regulatory reporting platform, acting as center of expertise. In this role, you will take full ownership of preparation, oversight, and strategic development of regulatory reports for Partners Group and its clients. You will be the primary point of contact for complex regulatory topics, driving cross-functional initiatives and leading discussions with external stakeholders such as service providers and auditors. This position offers broad exposure to regulatory frameworks and involves close collaboration with internal teams, external partners, and senior management. You will shape the firms' regulatory reporting platform, enabling actionable outputs for clients and decision-makers, support fundraising activities, and ensure Partners Group's commitment to rigorous reporting standards.
Key responsibilities:
- End-to-end ownership: Oversee the production and sign-off of regulatory reports, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance. Manage in-house reporting processes as applicable. Lead related discussions with internal and external stakeholders.
- Subject matter expertise: Act as primary subject matter expert and point of contact for assigned regulatory reporting topics of significant business relevance, providing deep expertise and guidance to internal and external stakeholders. Proactively monitor regulatory developments and translate changes into reporting strategies.
- Stakeholder engagement and communication: Drive constructive dialogue and negotiations with internal stakeholders, clients, external auditors, and service providers to achieve optimal outcomes.
- Strategic leadership: Initiate and lead cross-business unit and departmental projects, including new report onboardings, process efficiency enhancements, data integrity improvements, and regulatory compliance. Collaborate with cell leaders and senior management on strategic initiatives and broader process, system, and control improvement initiatives.
- Team and Provider Management: Coach and mentor team members and outsourcing partners, fostering a collaborative, high-performing environment.
- Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related
- 6-10 years of experience in financial services with a strong preference for candidates with direct experience in quantitative regulatory reporting for alternative investment funds (e.g., PRIIPs, MiFID II, Solvency II). Candidates with alternative investment fund accounting experience or regulatory reporting in other financial services sectors (e.g., banking, insurance) are encouraged to apply
- Proven ability to work with and interpret complex data, driving and influencing business decisions by generating actionable insights
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex topics to non-experts and passion for engaging effectively with diverse stakeholders through a proactive and curious mindset
- Adept at project-based work, with the ability to oversee multiple initiatives and tasks under tight deadlines
- Proficiency in English required, proficiency in German is an advantage
- Must be eligible to work in Switzerland
