What it's about

 

Partners Group’s Evergreen Fund Control team is looking for a motivated fund controlling professional to join our growing team in Zug. This role offers broad exposure to NAV oversight, financial reporting controls, and process improvement across a diverse portfolio of entities, including regulated and complex fund structures. 

A key focus of the role will be supporting and advancing internal initiatives to automate and enhance the review of NAV packages, including the use and further development of a key internal tools. You will work closely with senior team members, external fund administrators, and other stakeholders to improve the efficiency, quality, and scalability of fund control processes. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented and analytically strong professional to deepen their experience in fund control, data-driven review processes, and automation within a dynamic global environment. 

 

Key responsibilities:

 

  • Review periodic NAV packages, financial statements, and annual reports prepared by external fund administrators, identifying issues, inconsistencies, and areas requiring follow-up
  • Drive the development of internal initiatives to automate the review of NAV packages and related control processes while managing stakeholders
  • Act as a day-to-day contact for external fund administrators, auditors, and internal stakeholders for assigned deliverables and reporting matters
  • Partner with internal stakeholders and external fund administrators to resolve data, reporting, and control-related issues in a timely manner
  • Build effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders and support continuous improvement across the fund control framework
 
What we expect

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related discipline
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in fund accounting or controlling, with a focus on data analytics, ideally within private markets, asset management, fund administration, or Big4
  • Strong understanding of NAV review, fund structures, and control processes
  • Advanced Excel and systems skills, with practical experience in Python required; experience with SQL, VBA, eFront, or similar tools is an advantage
  • Interest in process automation and the ability to translate business needs into scalable, data-driven solutions
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with high attention to detail and a structured approach to working with large and complex data sets
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • A proactive, collaborative mindset and a strong commitment to high-quality, timely delivery
