Private Equity - Investment Operations Specialist

In order to strengthen our investment decision making process and expand our Investment Process Management team in Denver, we are seeking an Investment Operations Specialist

with the following key functions:


  • Prepare the minutes of Partners Group's weekly Global Investment Committee (GIC), the chief investment decision making organ of the firm. This task requires advance preparation including review of investment committee papers and maintaining good working relations with the investment teams.
  • Support the preparation of the weekly investment committee meetings at Partners Group. This task includes ensuring availability meeting materials and preparing agendas, coordinating with presenters from the investment teams to ensure smooth and efficient meetings, and collecting and consolidating the minutes prepared by the investment committees.
  • Prepare, file and perform quality control of investment committee related processes and documentation. This task includes proper tracking of investment decisions, ensuring adherence to the Investment Committee Process, managing deadlines across Partners Group's investment platform, and liaising with the Zug and Manila Investment Process Management teams.
  • Support senior members of the team on various ad hoc projects to improve the team's processes, tools and procedures, as required. This includes partnering with teams across Partner Group's departments, members of management and senior leaders.
  • Assist with the team's administrative tasks.


What we expect
  • 4-year Bachelor's degree, preferably in Business Administration, finance or similar
  • 2-3 years' work experience, preferably as a paralegal, administrative assistant, secretary or in a comparable administrative position.
  • Previous experience taking minutes preferred.  
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage and motivate others across all levels of seniority.
  • Interested in developing and furthering private markets knowledge.
  • Motivated by continuously improving and streamlining daily tasks and procedures.
  • A self-directed person with the ability to manage tasks effectively and complete them within demanding timelines, willing to be accountable for areas of responsibility, and flexible to take on new responsibilities and ad hoc tasks.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite; knowledge of CRM systems is a plus

  • Partners Group compensation has a long-term outlook and philosophy, and our total compensation emphasizes performance based long term incentives. Base pay range for this role is $51k – 71k and typically a significant performance-based bonus, equity and carry are part of the total compensation package.
