What it's about
In this position, you will be part of the Investment Valuation Services team which is responsible for the investment monitoring and valuation process across our private equity, private debt, private infrastructure and private real estate investments.
Responsibilities:
- Ongoing monitoring and tracking of the performance of assets throughout investment period
- Perform valuation for our private equity investments using one of the commonly acceptable valuation methodologies
- Prepare reports/materials on investment valuation ensuring highest quality
- Take on responsibility for certain operational tasks and projects related to the overall monitoring and valuation framework in Partners Group
- Collaborate with various teams within Partners Group as well as with external parties (service providers, auditors etc.) on monitoring and valuation related matters
The successful candidate should have the following profile:
- Bachelor degree, preferably in Accounting and/or Finance (CFA candidate or charter holder is a plus)
- 1-2 years of work experience in the financial industry (within the area of private equity, valuation advisory or accounting) and has some basic understanding on the different categories of equity and debt instruments
- Competent with SQL queries, basic programming languages or business analytics software such as Microsoft Power BI and Qliksense
- Proficient in MS Office, Bloomberg and S&P Capital IQ
- Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills
- A self-directed person, well organized person, able to manage and complete tasks effectively within demanding timelines
- Has a strong desire to learn and succeed
- Strong analytical skills, high attention to details and data interpretation
- A great team player

- Partners Group compensation has a long-term outlook and philosophy, and our total compensation emphasizes performance based long term incentives. Base pay range for this role is $90,000 - 100,000 and a performance-based bonus and equity are additional parts of the total compensation package
