Learning and Development Specialist

What it's about

We have a new, globally focused, role in the Human Resources team, supporting our company growth.  A key part of this new role will be to expand/build upon our learning management system (LMS), and centrally coordinate training activities.  We are looking for someone who is passionate about learning and development, and helping us achieve our ambitious growth plans. 

 

  • Play a key role, working collaboratively, to build content and deliver a LMS, including ongoing administration
  • Work with Centers of Expertise  Services and Talents in Zug, Switzerland to identify learning needs and design and develop engaging, high quality content that embeds our unique culture and develops the skills and knowledge of our employees
  • Centralize and coordinate the preparation and delivery of global, high-profile, complex learning solutions
  • Work with third party service providers of educational tools, as well as the international HR team and Compliance
  • Build e-learning content, test and upload all material into the LMS
  • Ensure training materials, documentation and content is fully up to date at all times
  • Prepare an evaluation process, gathering the necessary post-delivery data/information and compile reports with any recommendations for review
  • Manage training attendance (scheduling, invites, enrolment, etc.) and follow up as needed
  • Manage coordination of the global training activities for our Financial Analysts Program
What we expect
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field a plus
  • Training Certification highly desirable
  •  At least three years’ experience in coordinating the delivery of learning solutions for a broad range of customers and business environments
  • Previous experience designing and developing e-learning  is essential and delivering complex learning solutions is an advantage
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to work independently and as a part of a team with all levels
  • Good analytical, organizational and planning skills are essential  
  • Knowledge of training and development methods and learning principles, including adult learning theory, would be a plus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
