Junior Capital Markets Professional

What it's about

In this position, you have the opportunity to play an important role in Partners Group's Capital Markets Team, responsible for all debt financing-related aspects of Partners Group's Private Equity, Private Infrastructure, and Private Real Estate investments globally, across their life cycle. Your responsibilities will include:
 

  • Involved in the structuring and negotiation of debt financings for new buyouts/investments, add-on acquisitions and refinancings of portfolio companies / assets across Partners Group’s Equity Asset Classes
  • Establish relationships with banks, institutional investors, legal counsel, and other market participants
  • Proactively generate value enhancing financing ideas for existing investments
  • Structure and negotiate financing related hedging
  • Involved in institutionalizing the team further

What we expect

For this unique opportunity, we need a person who works well in a global organization and is a self-starter with strong interpersonal, communication and execution skills. Successful candidates should have the following profile:  
 

  • 3-6 years of leveraged finance, capital markets or investment banking experience at a leading financial institution
  • Excellent analytical and financial modelling skills
  • Strong project management skills and ability to work under pressure
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Relevant experience in structuring, negotiating, and executing debt financings in lead-left capacity (underwritten and best efforts), including loans and bonds 
  • Strong understanding of capital markets and debt products including detailed understanding of execution processes (constituents, legal and marketing documents, etc.)
  • Strong understanding of loan and bond documentation
  • Team worker with self-drive and a strong desire to contribute, learn, develop and make a difference
