What it's about

 

As a Valuation Professional, you will be (i) part of the global Investment Valuation Team and (ii) a member of the Valuation Team at Partners Group (UK) Limited ("PG UK"). While mainly focused on the monitoring and valuation of investments within our Private Infrastructure and Private Markets Royalties asset classes, you will also be exposed to the investment monitoring and valuation process across our other asset classes - Private Equity, Private Credit and Private Real Estate.

 

You will:

  • Develop expertise in private markets valuations generally, and in Private Infrastructure and Private Markets Royalties asset classes specifically
  • Take responsibility for ongoing monitoring and tracking of the performance of various assets (with a main focus on Private Infrastructure and Private Markets Royalties) during our investment period
  • Perform financial analysis and valuation for various assets (with a main focus on Private Infrastructure and Private Markets Royalties) using commonly accepted valuation methodologies
  • Lead and support financial monitoring initiatives (in iLevel), focusing on data optimization, quality enhancement, and timely resolution of platform-related inquiries
  • Lead the preparation of valuation packages submitted to the Valuation Committee of PG UK
  • Support the Chairperson of the Valuation Committee of PG UK on a wide range of tasks related to the Valuation Function of PG UK 
  • Collaborate with external valuation service providers and auditors in investment monitoring and valuation matters
  • Prepare valuation reports, memos and deliverables for various internal and external stakeholders
  • Interact and work closely with various internal teams (e.g. investment teams)

 

What we expect

 

The successful candidate for this role should have the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Accounting and/or Finance
  • Ideally 3-5 years of work experience focusing on valuation and financial modelling (preferably in a (i) valuation and financial modelling department of a leading accounting firm, (ii) specialized valuation and financial modelling firm or (iii) valuation department of a fund manager focusing on direct private infrastructure investments)
  • Proficiency in financial modelling (model build and review) and performing DCF valuations
  • A self-driven/directed, well organized individual, able to manage and complete tasks effectively within demanding timelines
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills
  • Strong desire to learn and succeed
  • Proficiency in MS Office and databases such as S&P Capital IQ
  • Previous experience using iLevel for financial monitoring purposes is a plus
