What it's about

 

In this position you will lead the global operations of Partners Group's Customer Due Diligence (CDD) team. Partners Group operates a CDD team which oversees the execution on investor AML/CDD matters by our service provider. In this role the candidate and wider CDD team operates in close conjunction with the Compliance team and the service providers engaged to perform AML/CDD tasks for us in addition to other stakeholders such as local committee members, investors and regulatory bodies. You will also partner with the regional CDD technical experts who are responsible for the regulatory relevant aspects of the CDD team responsibilities.

 

Your tasks will include:

  • Owning, streamlining and developing global, multi-jurisdictional CDD operations in line with Partners Group's risk appetite, regulatory requirements and business needs
  • Acting as a change agent when operations require modification or innovation
  • Leading the CDD team to successfully contribute to Partners Group's strategic objectives and digitalisation strategy, including by driving and timely executing on global CDD projects
  • Building and managing a high performing CDD team across the globe whilst coaching team members to grow personally and professionally
  • Partners Group engages an array of services providers on the CDD front and you will be responsible for relationship management and consistent high quality service delivery in line with Partners Group expectations
  • Maintaining a robust oversight program vis-a-vis service providers to fulfil operational excellence needs and regulatory expectations
  • Acting as a central escalation point for CDD operational challenges for effective and timely resolution
  • Successfully managing stakeholder relationships and expectations, including those of investors, Partners Group's client solutions teams, local boards and global committees
  • Collaborating with the pool of technical experts within the CDD team to ensure compliance assurance is adequately reflected and implemented within the operational service catalogue

What we expect

 

This is a Member of Management position suited to a professional with a minimum of 9 – 12 years of relevant work experience. We expect candidates to have a proven track record in change management and project management. Candidates should excel at stakeholder relationships and people leadership and can demonstrate solid experience in both areas . We also require a candidate with substantial experience and knowledge in regulatory matters, with experience on AML/CDD matters being a clear asset.
