Junior Tax Operations Professional

What it's about

Tax Operations is a global team within Partners Group with presence in Denver, New York, Zug, Munich and Singapore. The team is responsible for the international tax filing obligations of Partners Groups' investors and funds. The team consists of experts in national as well as international tax matters. A continued education is very important for the ability to keep up with the fast-changing tax world. For our growing team, we are looking for a Junior Tax Operations Professional.

 

This role is suitable for someone at the beginning of their career after having made first experiences with taxation and looking for a change to an in-house counsel.

Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to Partners Groups' compliance with tax obligations in various jurisdictions across the globe
  • Manage and maintain processes to ensure data accuracy of tax compliance related data in PG systems
  • Overseeing and responding to counterparty tax inquiries
  • Participation in and responsibility for individual workstreams within annual reporting's for tax purposes
  • Support in projects to improve processes and tools within Tax Operations
  • Take actions to further deepen your technical know-how in and outside of the area of responsibility
What we expect
  • A bachelor's degree in accounting, business administration or equivalent and 1-2 years of work experience in a big4 firm or equivalent is a must
  • First work experience and interest in tax compliance and/or FATCA/CRS is preferred
  • Passionate for identifying and implementing operational improvements in your daily work
  • Seeing the big picture while not losing focus of daily tasks
  • High sense of responsibility and ownership for the area of work as well as excellent prioritization skills
  • Ability to manage the task portfolio independently
  • Experienced use of common MS Office programs
  • Critical and analytical thinking as well as detail-oriented work
  • Interest in global tax matters with a focus on the private equity industry
  • Excellent communication in English, both verbally and in writing
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to build strong networks both internally and externally
  • Being a team player who is flexible with regards to work tasks and planning and who can also take on new areas of responsibility at short notice
  • You are curious about your role in the context of the overall organization and the private equity industry
