Junior Treasurer (Loan Admin)

What it's about

The main responsibilities for this position include:

  • Tracking and processing of external loan documentations (e.g. interest notices, rate setting notices, repayment notices) including mailbox management
  • Setting up of new loan investment and their features in our systems
  • Projecting and monitoring current and future interest receivable cash flows
  • Investigation management with investment professionals, external agents and accountants on discrepancies between expected cash flows and external confirmation
  • Working closely with relevant internal and external stakeholders such as front (deal team, back office (reporting and accounting) and external administrators and auditors for transactions inquiries or discrepancies and other loan-related matters
  • Supporting the team efforts with regards to (i) internal reporting (compliance, internal audit, and maintenance of process documentation (corporate knowledge base WIKI, etc.) and (ii) external reporting (provision of loan related documents for audit purpose)
  • Refining and implementing additional controls for existing processes
  • Other ad-hoc and administrative duties
What we expect
  • Preferably with a Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, CPA or with relevant accounting professional qualifications e.g. CA
  • Ideally with at least 5 years’ experience with the financial industry (within the area of accounting, auditing, fund administration) or is familiar with loan administration
  • A self-directed person, able to manage effectively and complete tasks within demanding timelines despite competing priorities
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in MS Office (particularly MS Excel)
  • Well organized, eager to learn and a good team player
  • Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills
  • Willing and able to work mid-shift (3pm – 12 am)
