CLO Analyst - New York or London

What it's about

In this position, you will be part of a dynamic and growing global CLO portfolio management team within a large, investment platform.  Your responsibilities will include working closely with team members and local operating partners in order to manage the day to day operations of CLOs .



  • CLO Portfolio Associate responsible for portfolio reporting, monitoring, ongoing maintenance and compliance of CLO funds and associate Risk Retention Funds

  • Work on the full life-cycle of CLOs, from warehouse opening, managing warehouse drawdown, CLO closing and ongoing CLO management

  • Daily collaboration with Portfolio Management and external service providers (Trustee, fund administrator, Audit) to ensure cash and positions are captured correctly and properly reconciled; manage warehouse drawdown across multiple facilities and complex structural setups

  • Assist with CLO cash management, accounting/audit work

  • Coordinate loan settlements (both LMA and LSTA) with Closing, direct contacts with ClearPar and agents as needed

  • Responsible for weekly, monthly tie-outs/quarterly waterfall reconciliations, customized reporting packages

  • Perform ad hoc requests related to CLOs and retention funds

  • Track CLO performance and compliance metrics

What we expect

In this position, we are looking for a person who works well in an entrepreneurial organization, who is a self-starter and possesses strong networking, organization, and financial skills. The successful candidate should have the following profile:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, finance or similar subject required; master's degree preferred
  • At least 4 years of relevant industry experience in Loan or CLO Operations at a Rating Agency, Trustee, Bank, or Accounting Firm
  • Familiarity with CLOs and/or related vehicles; ability to read and understand deal documentation, CLO waterfall, and ongoing CLO maintenance tasks
  • Excellent interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving ability, with strong attention to detail
  • Good organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work in a team-oriented environment
