Accountant (8 months maternity coverage)

What it's about

Internal lending activities (50%)

You will be responsible for the complete, accurate and timely handling of internal lending activities from Partners Group to its programs. In this role you will understand various rules and guidelines in internal lending assessment, as well as be responsible for close coordination with internal stakeholders.

 

Your tasks include:

  • Daily processing of internal lending new and rollover request (incl. approval, FX hedging, agreement)
  • Daily FX trading reconciliation with trading tool and bank statement
  • Outstanding loan monitoring and coordination for repayment or further extension
  • Daily monitoring of shared mailbox used for the process (incl. submissions, queries, and alerts servicing)

 

Investment-related revenue and rebate (50%)

You will be responsible for the complete, accurate and timely revenue and rebate transactions in relation to Partners Group's investments. In this role you will understand various investment structures and corresponding net revenue configuration as well as be responsible for close coordination with internal stakeholders.

 

  • Maintain Tracker list of all investments in scope (automated and manual parallel trackers) in collaboration with other department
  • Prepare quarterly accruals schedule to accountants of relevant entities, as well as monthly accounting completion confirmation
  • Prepare various monthly and quarterly reports (e.g. Compliance confirmation, recognition of short-/long-term revenue accruals, etc)
  • Provide input in relation to annual audit (incl. necessary report)
  • Review and service obligations following legal agreements as defined in the system
  • Monitor daily cash movement (incl. cash transfers to internal bank accounts) and prepare rebate payments to funds
  • Daily monitoring of shared mailbox used for the process (incl. queries and alerts servicing)
What we expect
  • Bachelor’s degree or further education in Accounting/Finance
  • 3-5 years of relevant financial accounting experience
  • Reliable and trustworthy individual with good analytical skills and ability to pay excellent attention to detail and adhere to strict deadlines
  • Self-motivated and proactive individual who is able to deal well with pressure
  • Ability to effectively and appropriately communicate with both internal and external parties
