What it's about
The hire we are looking for will be part of the Investment valuation control team in Singapore which is responsible in providing oversight and quality control of indirect investment partner reports outsourced to service providers in ensuring high quality, timeliness, and adherence to our Standard Operating Procedures and supporting the broader valuation control team
The main responsibilities for this position include:
- Review and provide oversight of indirect investment partner reports prepared by external service providers to ensure accurate and timely reflection of NAV developments and underlying drivers
- Act as a point of contact for internal stakeholders on partner-reporting topics, responding to questions and resolving issues efficiently
- Identify gaps, discrepancies or process breakdowns; coordinate remediation with service providers and follow through to closure
- Promptly communicates and helps to resolve any issues or gaps identified in the work performed by service providers and work with them to identify areas for improvement and helps to implement best practices to optimize processes.
- Contribute to continuous process improvement by proposing and implementing best practices, process enhancements and standardized control
- Support the build-out and ongoing maintenance of internal procedures, documentation and control checks aligned with SOPs
- Participate actively in team routines (meetings, knowledge sharing, training), contributing to a collaborative, learning-oriented culture
- Actively contributes to knowledge sharing and team development through participation in meetings, education initiatives, etc.
- Support the broader valuation control team on cross-functional deliverables and ad-hoc projects as needed
- Bachelor in finance, accounting, business administration and/or finance
- Preferably 3-5 years of working experience
- Exhibits a strong control-centric mindset
- Possess some working experience around process management function
- Openness towards supporting the implementation / adoption of various tech initiatives across function
- Demonstrate a committed and flexible personality, being eager to learn and to be able to deal with pressure
- Team player, capable of working efficiently as well as managing deadlines successfully.
- Works reliably, has strong self-organization skills and pays attention to detail.
