Investment Leader (INFRA Directs)

What it's about

To further extend our growing private Infrastructure team in Singapore we are looking for a Investment Leader, Private Infrastructure, to join the senior leadership and lead and enrich our team. Your responsibilities:

  • Sourcing and identifying direct investment opportunities in Asia-Pacific
  • Managing deal teams, preparing investment committee inputs and presenting investment opportunities to the investment committee for investment opportunities
  • Executing investment processes including managing work streams, from origination stage to closing and exit
  • Taking board seats of portfolio companies as necessary, and actively contributing to value creation and monitoring efforts
  • Review investment memoranda for, and participate in, investment committee meetings on a regular basis
  • Leverage existing and develop relationships with current and prospective operating partners and industry experts to assist in identifying and assessing opportunities and drive value creation through our investee company boards
  • Support the client solutions team on various capital raising related opportunities such as attending pitches and fund raising meetings
 
What we expect

We are looking for a person who works well in an entrepreneurial organization, someone who is a self-starter and possesses strong networking and organisation skills, as well as demonstrated investment and team leadership experience. The successful candidate should have the following profile:

  • 8-10 years of direct investment experience in APAC Infrastructure, or Private Equity with a focus on "core plus", with a leading investment manager; investment execution experience is highly important.
  • Successful and proven investment execution and sourcing skills 
  • Existing network in the advisory, banking, intermediary community and owners/operators within Infrastructure
  • Excellent analytical, interpersonal and written communication skills
  • Experience in team management in the deal team
  • Successful track record of providing guidance and mentorship
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and a strong desire to learn and succeed
