Senior Associate, Private Equity Technology

What it's about

In this position, you will join Partners Group’s Private Equity Technology team in our Singapore office to contribute to our buyout and growth investing activities in the Technology vertical in Asia. Recent transactions closed by this team include an investment in SirionLabs and an exit from Straive. Your role will involve contributing across all aspects of private equity investments, including thematic research, sourcing, due diligence, investment execution, ongoing monitoring, value creation and divestitures.


  • Top-down thematic research to uncover investment themes with long term attractiveness and developing investment opportunities within the companies best positioned to benefit from those themes
  • Contributing to due diligence workstreams on prospective investments (financial, commercial, legal etc.)
  • Drafting and presenting investment committee documents
  • Modeling business plans, capital structures and investment returns
  • Supporting portfolio companies throughout our investment period (including the planning, execution and monitoring of value creation initiatives)
What we expect
  • Approximately 6 years work experience in a top tier consulting firm with project experience focused on IT Services companies and/or Software/SaaS companies. Project experience in other parts of technology (consumer technology, semiconductors etc) is not of value to this particular role.
