We are seeking an experienced Senior Fund Cash Operations Lead to join our Singapore-based Fund Operations team. This role is responsible for overseeing key fund cash activities, including product closings, capital calls, and distributions, while serving as the central point of coordination across internal teams and external service providers. The successful candidate will bring deep Fund Operations expertise, a strong risk and control mindset, and a proven ability to enhance processes and deliver operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee key fund cash activities, including product closings, capital calls, and distributions, ensuring accurate, timely execution and compliance with internal controls.
- Serve as the main contact for day-to-day fund cash operational matters, coordinating with internal teams and external service providers.
- Act as an authorized signatory and reviewer for relevant fund cash transactions, in line with approval limits and control requirements.
- Manage stakeholder and service provider relationships, monitoring service delivery against KPIs and SLAs, operational performance, and timely issue escalation and resolution.
- Review and interpret key fund legal and offering documents, including Limited Partnership Agreements (LPAs) and Operating Memoranda (OMs), to ensure cash flow events and operational processes are executed in line with fund requirements.
- Develop and maintain KPIs, dashboards, and management reports, using operational data and trends to improve governance, identify issues, and drive process standardization.
- Support cross-functional initiatives and maintain procedures, policies, and documentation to improve efficiency, strengthen controls, reduce operational risk, and support a well-controlled operating environment.
- Promote a strong risk and control culture through adherence to internal policies, regulatory requirements, and operating standards.
Requirements
- 8+ years of relevant experience within financial services, with strong experience in fund operations and fund cash processes.
- Strong understanding of fund operations, cash management processes, operational controls, and risk management.
- Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and build effective working relationships across functions and seniority levels.
- Experience reviewing and interpreting fund legal and offering documentation and translating requirements into operational execution.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence, collaborate, and engage effectively across teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Strong attention to detail, sound organizational skills, and the ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Familiarity with SWIFT payment messaging and platforms such as Wall Street Suite and eFront is advantageous.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Hands-on experience in investor onboarding, transfer agency, and service provider oversight.
- Control-oriented, with a proactive and solutions-focused approach to problem-solving and issue resolution.
- Strong analytical capabilities, with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into practical operational improvements.
- Collaborative and confident, with the ability to work independently while contributing effectively as part of a wider team.
- Experience operating in a regional or cross-border environment is advantageous.
