What it's about

Investment Tax is a global team within Partners Group with presence in Denver, New York, Zug, Munich and Singapore. The team is responsible for the management of investor, fund and investment related tax aspects of our private market investment activities. To strengthen our growing and highly dynamic team, we are looking for a Senior Tax Operations Professional.

Responsibilities:

  • Supporting tax compliance and operational aspects of investments across Partners Group' business.
  • Supporting fund formation and sales professionals on client queries for fund and investment related tax matters.
  • Monitoring the changes in tax legislation around the globe and assessing the impact on Partners Group business and investments.
  • Leading and coordinating various tax related projects such as restructurings, add-ons, legislative changes etc.
  • Instructing, managing and negotiating with outside tax counsels (defining scope of work, deliverables, timeline etc).
  • Training of investment and legal team members in tax matters.
  • Supporting our wider teams (e.g., Transaction Services, Client Solutions and Structuring Services) on tax related matters.
What we expect
  • A university degree (in finance, accounting or business), 5 to 9 years tax experience in a public accounting firm and/or a multinational enterprise as well as significant knowledge in a global tax environment through outside university trainings, conferences, MAS, etc.
  • Experience in cross-border tax matters (US exposure and/or experience in private equity industry being a plus).
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills, high attention to details and finance aspects of tax work.
  • Passionate for identifying and implementing operational improvements in your daily work
  • Seeing the big picture while not losing focus of daily tasks
  • High sense of responsibility and ownership for the area of work as well as excellent prioritization skills
  • Ability to manage the task portfolio independently
  • Excellent communication in English, both verbally and in writing
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to build strong networks both internally and externally
  • Being a team player who is flexible with regards to work tasks and planning and who can also take on new areas of responsibility at short notice
  • You are curious about your role in the context of the overall organization and the private equity industry
