What it's about
We are looking for an experienced Head, Investor Services to lead and develop an assigned Investor Services morning shift. The team is responsible for answering questions and requests from our clients and client relationship managers and contributes meaningfully to good client experience. This is a people leadership role and the successful candidate is responsible for service execution, quality, and continuous improvement, while driving short- to mid-term strategic initiatives across the whole Investor Services team.
What you’ll do
- Own operational execution: ensure timely, accurate delivery of Investor Services activities across the team; manage workload planning and resource allocation.
- Drive quality and risk mitigation: maintain and evolve the quality framework, perform quality assurance testing, conduct root cause analysis, and implement preventive measures.
- Partner with stakeholders: act as a key liaison across sales, operational teams and and clients; communicate and coordindate effectively across countries and time zones.
- Improve processes, tools and service offering: contribute ideas and implement improvements that enhance client experience, scalability, and control environment.
- Lead and develop the team: coach team members, support performance management, and build a high-performing culture aligned to our values
- Build for the future: support talent acquisition, succession planning, KPI adherence, and forward-thinking team structures that enable sustainable growth.
- 8–10 years of relevant experience in Investor Services / Transfer Agency / Private Wealth / fund servicing or closely related areas, including people management and team development, ideally gained in an international environment, with a strong service orientation and a proven track record of service excellence.
- Demonstrated end-to-end functional know-how across financial services operations, such as Hedge Fund/Private Equity operations with an ability to translate business needs into actionable plans and day-to-day execution.
- Prefer candidates with good understanding of fund accounting, fund documentation, financial statements and NAV drivers; comfortable discussing various impact, drivers, and operational implications with key and senior stakeholders.
- Demonstrated track record of leading initiatives or projects with broad (cross-team or firm-wide) impact.
- Confident communicator who can collaborate with sales colleagues and stakeholders across multiple countries.
- Solutions-oriented, forward-looking, and creative—able to identify issues, propose improvements, and drive implementation. Comfortable working in a dynamic environment.
