Global Service Provider Manager (services procurement management)

Task: Owns our global service provider framework and together with a team of Service Provider Managers ensures its implementation and adherence globally and in all business areas

 

The Global Service Provider Manager

  • Is the thought leader for service provider management in Partners Group throughout its whole lifecycle (selection, appointment, onboarding, monitoring, offboarding)
  • Sets out and continuously develops and refines the principles, guidelines, performance measures and processes for a risk-based and compliant service provider management
  • Establishes, develops and manages service provider tracking and management tools  
  • Ensures adherence to established framework through education and targeted review
  • Monitors service provider quality, risk and cost performance and guides business in performance management
  • Interacts with Executive Committee and relevant group entity Boards on service provider related matters
  • Shapes the consolidation strategy with preferred service providers
  • Holds selected strategic service provider relationships

 

What we expect

You are an experienced Service Provider Manager ((senior) member of management) with 10-15 years' experience who

  • has proven service provider management experience in larger, global services corporations
  • has the seniority to hold senior strategic service provider relationships
  • is a strong personality who can motivate people to achieve results and who can solve conflicts
  • can absorb and structure a large amount of information, keep the overview, prioritize and draw conclusion for action
  • has proven cost budget responsibility
  • is self-driven, sees need for action, independently develops improvement plans and executes them effectively
  • understands internal processes and can translate them into service provider context
