Investment Analyst - Private Infrastructure Directs, Zug (Switzerland)

What it's about
This role is part of the Private Infrastructure team of Partners Group. We apply a value-add investment framework across the Energy, Transportation, TMT and Social infrastructure sectors.
Your tasks will include:
- Contributions across the full investment cycle (origination, execution, asset management, exits and fundraising)
- Own and run financial models, valuation analysis, scenario modelling
- Support on due diligence streams for prospective investments
- Support in the preparation of investment memoranda for Partners Group's Investment Committee meetings
- Support investment teams in the monitoring of existing investments and implementation of value creation plans alongside management
- Conduct various tasks related to product reporting, monitoring investments, market research, internal requests, and marketing efforts
For this challenging position, we are looking for a self-starter that works well in an entrepreneurial and high energy environment. We also seek a candidate with strong communication skills, that can confidently engage with both internal and external stakeholders.
The successful candidate should have the following profile:
- At least 1-3 years of relevant corporate finance experience such as Principal Investing, Investment Banking, Consulting or Corporate M&A
- Experience in infrastructure markets is a plus
- Top academic credentials (Master’s/MBA/CFA preferred)
- Financial modelling skills required; proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Excellent analytical, inter-personal and written communication skills
- Team player with a strong desire to learn and succeed
- Proactive mindset on assignments / projects that demonstrate initiative
- Strong work ethic
