What it's about

We are looking for an experienced Reporting Controller to support us in our growing Expense Transparency Reporting function, responsible for product fee and expense reporting to clients. This senior member will be part of the Expense Transparency Reporting function within the Financial Reporting team, which is in charge of fee and expense reporting. The Financial Reporting team has its presence in Zug, Singapore and Manila, and is responsible for the global audit coordination and financial statements preparation, as well as fee reporting to clients. 


Responsibilities include:

  • To act as a key member of the Expense Transparency Reporting team, providing support in day-to-day expense transparency and regulatory reporting tasks, as well as ongoing process, systems, and control improvement initiatives within the Expense Transparency Reporting Knowledge Center and supporting the larger Reporting team during peak times.
  • Key areas of the function will be: 
  • Preparation of Regulatory reports across a broad Partners Group investment product universe, in line with SECA (CH), CTI, TCA, DCPT (UK), ASIC/RG97 (AUS), PRIIPS / MIFID (EU) regulatory requirements
  • Coordination of the TER, PRIIPS/ MiFID annual reviews and other ad-hoc reporting processes
  • Compilation and review of the underlying financial information obtained from other supporting teams, including external service providers
  • Clear understanding of systems, processes, roles, and responsibilities across Product Accounting and Financial Reporting function
  • Assist in currently ongoing as well as future process, system, and/ or control improvement projects, while managing certain sub-streams
  • Active engagement and collaboration with stakeholders across the company such as Compliance, Client Solutions, Product Management, Risk Management, Business Applications and external partner
  • Proactive coaching and training of more junior colleagues (as required)

  • Support in any internal and external client communication


What we expect
  • Minimum 2-4 years’ experience in the financial services industry or audit
  • Experience with alternative investment financial reporting (including complex structures), with an ability to interpret different type of accounting/ reporting standards
  • Understanding and experience with different private markets investment structures and strategies, with the ability to proactively identify, communicate, and address any operational challenges, risks, or potential improvements
  • Candidates with experience in SECA (CH), FCA (UK), ASIC (AUS), PRIIPS / MIFID (EU) regulatory reporting will be preferred, displaying ability to understand regulatory requirements and their practical application
  • Ability to take ownership, work independently, and multi-task in the preparation of financial reports and other assigned tasks within set deadlines
  • Project experience relating to process, systems, and/ or control improvements within the financial services industry is preferred
  • Effective communication skills while collaborating with stakeholders across different functions in an international setting
  • Experience in coaching and review of work of more junior members, while providing proactive, constructive upward and downward feedback
  • Attention to detail, with an entrepreneurial, proactive, and a solution-driven mindset
  • Proficiency in English is required
