Private Equity Mandates - Reporting Specialist

What it's about

Partners Group's product management team is the hub of a variety of activities throughout the lifecycle of an investment program including comprehensive product reporting and communication to investors based around the globe. In this role, you will oversee a selection of private markets investment programs and/or mandates, with a specific emphasis on the private equity asset class. You will also perform various program- or mandate-related activities while working with investment professionals and client relationship teams.



  • Provide compelling qualitative and quantitative reporting to investors through regular publications and general sales support material
  • Thoroughly analyze portfolio developments and craft the language used to update investors through an iterative process that includes outlines, drafts and reviews with investment professionals globally, while keeping the development on a tight schedule
  • Compose, review, edit and sign-off industry-related deal and market texts
  • Oversee and respond to client requests relating to assigned private markets investment programs and/or mandates
  • Oversee product compliance including proper documentation of processes and procedures
  • Participate in the management, coordination and education of a small team of dedicated specialist investment writers
  • Able to motivate team members, promote open communication and lead by example, with the aim of developing a successful team
  • Take responsibility in projects to support the development and growth of the team

What we expect
  • The ideal candidate should have a bachelor degree in communications, business administration, finance or economics
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience and demonstrated success within the writing field; editing and management experience are an advantage
  • 1-2 years management experience as a team leader
  • Profound knowledge of the financial services industry; experience in private equity a plus
  • Analytical, detail-oriented and able to pull together ideas to make a convincing argument
  • Strong organizational skills are a must, demonstrating the ability to work well under tight deadlines
  • Fluent in German and English
