Senior Fee & Pricing Platform Engineer

What it's about

  • Lead the technology implementation of a firm wide project to reshape our pricing proposal process.
    • Drive and help the project team to coordinate with different development teams and stakeholders in order to deliver different parts on time
    • Create and maintain comprehensive project and solution documentation
    • Plan, monitor, track and communicate project progress
  • Help the team head to build the team, identify opportunities for the team, and develop junior team members
  • Define, implement and maintain complex fee calculation models to facilitate and support accurate and timely charging and accounting of management and performance fees for the firm and managed/advised funds
  • Refine processes around fee calculations for any new enhancement required, including data controls and measures to control operational risks
  • Lead and support various smaller projects with both internal and external development teams to keep enhancing our fee & pricing platform, further improving systems landscape across the whole firm
  • Regular interactions with Client Solutions, Portfolio Solutions, Risk Management and various operational teams to collaborate on and review new fee structures, to ensure smooth implementation of new models and to define new processes
  • Own the relationships with different stakeholders across the firm
What we expect
  • At least 5-7 years of experience in developing and shipping complex business applications in financial sector
  • Master's degree or PhD in computer science, mathematics, physics, finance or similar
  • At least two years of programming experience in Python
  • Passion for numbers and quantitative analysis
  • Experience in pricing/risk management is a plus
  • Passion for programming and technical aspects
  • Experience with cloud solution (preferably AWS) is ideal
  • Driven and self-motivated person
  • Well-organized and reliable person, hands-on and accurate working style
  • Strong in oral and written English (German is a plus)
