Senior Fee Reporting Specialist

What it's about

We are looking for an experienced hire to build up and manage a Knowledge Center in relation to product fee reporting to clients. This senior member will be part of the Financial Reporting team, which is globally in charge of products audit. The team has its presence in Zug, Singapore and Manila. The team is responsible for the global audit coordination and financial statements preparation, with an extension of fee reporting to clients. 
 

Responsibilities include:

 

  • To build and manage a new Knowledge Center around fee and expense transparency reporting, for both closed-ended and semi-liquid programs as well as supporting the team members during peak period
     

Key areas of the function will be: 

  • To lead the Knowledge Center around the topic, with senior and junior members
  • Scope coordination with stakeholders in other key internal teams such as Compliance, Client Solutions, Product Management, Risk Management and external partners
  • Interpretation of related regulatory requirements, updates and guidelines such as SECA (CH), FCA (UK), ASIC (AUS), PRIIPS / MIFID (EU)
  • Development/improvement of technical solutions with Business Applications team
  • Coordination of completeness of underlying financial information
  • Coordinate the annual audited TE reports with the auditors for Swiss pension fund clients
  • Annual TER update to the Executive Committee
  • Develop process and control framework safeguarding the function
  • Client facing communication (verbally and written), in combination with Client Solutions
  • Completion of the annual and ad hoc reporting and associated tasks

What we expect
  • Minimum 8-10 years’ experience from the financial services industry or audit,
  • Paralegal experience, to be able to interpret changes in regulations and interpret what it means in practice,
  • Experience within alternative investments financial reporting, to understand the complexity of the industry and ability to interpret different type of accountings standards being provided,
  • Understanding and experience of different structures, like programs, mandates, to be able to appreciate the complexity of those different structures and the ability to manage risks associated with them,
  • Proven experience in managing projects and redefining processes and procedures, including development and implementation of systems/tools,
  • Leadership skills with experience of leading and guiding a team,
  • Flair for systems, with an ability to understand current set-up and having the skillset of implementing new solutions together with Business Applications,
  • To directly or indirectly communicate with clients,
  • Proficiency in English and German, and
  • Clear career vision: understanding of the firm’s business and industry.
