What it's about

A Senior Service Provider Manager is a pivotal role within the newly created Global Service Provider Management team of Partners Group; ideal for someone who has an entrepreneurial mindset and wants to help shape this exciting new function. We are looking for an experienced subject matter expert who drives the lifecycle management (selection, appointment, onboarding, monitoring and offboarding) of our Service Providers Management practice globally.

Main responsibilities:


  • Lead and support commercial and contractual negotiations with a wide range of service providers
  • Monitor service providers' quality, risk and cost performance and guide business areas in service provider performance management
  • Ensure the global service provider management framework is understood, implemented and adhered to across all business areas
  • Support the development and implementation of the mid- to long-term strategy for service provider management in close collaboration with the Global Head Service Provider Management
  • Act as coach and sparring partner to business globally in order to align service provider management efforts across Partners Group
What we expect
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field
  • 8-10 years of relevant working experience in service provider management across the complete service provider lifecycle
  • Senior level project management skills as well as change management experience and having worked in the consulting field is a plus
  • Detail-oriented, organized and self-motivated
  • Responsible, accountable and adaptable
  • Team player with high social competence
  • Ability to integrate within a fast-paced, dynamic and diverse global team
  • Experience in the area of investment management services is a plus
