What it's about
In this position, you will be part of the growing institutional client team covering Switzerland and will make an impact by supporting client acquisition and maintenance across the team and firm.
In your role, your primary tasks will include:
- Support client relationship managers with the preparation for client meetings and due diligence sessions including compiling convincing bespoke marketing presentations and investment proposals, as well as coordination of internal parties
- Creating tailored, persuasive and high-quality responses to client requests and performance updates
- Coordinating and liaising with various teams and specialists within the firm to prepare client requests
- Producing written market updates and summaries of investment activity
- Support process related to, as well as, provide convincing and well-justified inputs to request for proposals (RFPs)
- Business development initiatives and market research on various client target groups
- Building professional and technical knowledge with a view to potentially develop into a full-time position after completion of the internship
The successful candidate will have a good understanding of the financial services industry, gained through internships within private markets, investment banking or consulting.
Key attributes will include:
- Undergraduate university degree with outstanding academic results
- Native German speaker with excellent skills in both spoken and written English (hard requirement). Good understanding of spoken and written French is a clear plus
- Required experience in private markets, consulting, M&A, or investment banking gained by previous internships
- Ability to problem solve with a client-focused mindset and willingness to work towards tight deadlines in a challenging environment
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Confident and comfortable communicating with teams and individuals across all levels
- Ability to take full ownership and responsibility
- Strong project management skills and ability to drive different processes at the same time
- Excellent analytical, interpersonal and presentation skills as well as a strong desire to learn and succeed
- Proactive hands-on approach
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
