What it's about

 

Partners Group is seeking to hire a Zug-based Project Coordinator to join the Project Management Office (PMO). The Project Coordinator is responsible for assisting the PMO team with planning, organizing, and implementing various Project portfolio activities, as well as ensuring that Projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. Over time, the Project Coordinator has the potential to grow into a Project Leader role and to take on responsibility for initiatives and projects.

You will work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment with strong exposure to Project teams and stakeholders across the firm as well as with Partners Group's senior leadership. This is a very exciting role, combining administrative and operational tasks, management support and project management elements, offering lots of opportunities to learn, build your network and grow your career at one of the leading global private markets investment management firms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare regular Project portfolio status reports and management presentations for senior management
  • Organize and support semi-annual Project portfolio prioritization processes
  • Monitor and report on Project activities and progress across all dimensions and identify and escalate potential issues or risks
  • Assist in the identification and implementation of Project management best practices and process improvements
  • Provide support in strategic and operational projects and initiatives
  • Facilitate Project design and approval processes end-to-end, maintain Project documentation and provide administrative support to the PMO team
  • Facilitate workshops, trainings and offsites

 

What we expect

 

We are looking for a person who works well in a highly entrepreneurial organization, someone who is a self-starter, detail oriented, and possesses strong people, organizational, analytical, and project management skills. The successful candidate should have the following profile:

  • Top academic credentials: bachelor's or master's degree (business degree preferred)
  • 1-2 years of relevant work experience in an international work environment, preferably in the financial industry or consulting
  • Fluent in English, additional languages are a plus (e.g. German)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with a diverse range of people and job functions
  • Highly organized, analytical mindset and structured way of working
  • Detail-oriented and able to stay focused and deliver high quality work under pressure and tight timelines
  • Positive can-do personality and ability to see the big picture and anticipate issues that may arise
  • Ambitious with a strong desire to learn and succeed
  • Team player and willingness to work in front as well as behind the scenes
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook)
