Senior Reporting Controller

What it's about
We are looking for a Senior Reporting Controller to join our Regulatory Reporting team in our Zug office. In this role, you will support the team with gathering and interpreting data from various sources, transforming it into information that is meaningful for Partners Group's clients, and contributing to business development and decision-making. You will also perform research and analysis on regulatory reporting requirements that are relevant to Partners Group and its clients.
Key responsibilities:
- Interpreting and implementing regulatory requirements, updates and guidelines such as Packaged retail and insurance-based investment products (PRIIPs), Markets in Financial Instruments Directive (MiFID) and Swiss Financial Services Act (FIDLEG), Swiss Private Equity & Corporate Finance Association (SECA), Cost Transparency Initiative (CTI), Total Cost of Acquisition (TCA), Defined Contribution (DC) Workplace Pension Template (DCPT), Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation (SFDR), EU Taxonomy
- Designing and implementing processes, tools and solutions to better manage the workflow of Total Expense Ratio (TER), PRIIPs, MiFID annual reviews, production of European MiFID Template (EMT), European PRIIPs Template (EPT) and European ESG Template (EET), including related expense transparency and sustainability disclosure topics
- Support the subject matter expert on a portfolio of regulatory topics
- Support in ongoing as well as future process, system, and/ or control improvement projects, as well as company-wide initiatives
- Bachelor's degree (preferably master's) in a related field of study
- 4-8 years of experience from the financial services industry, preferably within alternative investments financial reporting
- General understanding of accounting concepts as well as regulatory requirements and practical application of PRIIPs, MiFID, FIDLEG, SECA, CTI, TCA, DCPT, SFDR, EU taxonomy and/or related regulatory frameworks will be preferred
- Foundational project experience that demonstrates the ability to manage multiple tasks, work effectively within team structures and across different stakeholder groups, and contribute meaningfully to project outcomes. Prior involvement in project-based work is highly valued
- Flair for systems and data management: ability to analyze large datasets, understand systems and implement solutions to new regulatory requirements with our Business Applications team
- Proficient in SQ: ability to write complex scripts will be preferred
- Effective communication and presentation skills while collaborating, communicating and presenting to stakeholders across different functions and all levels of seniority in an international setting
- Proficiency in English required, proficiency in German preferred
- Eligibility to work in Switzerland
