In this full-time position you will be instrumental in Partners Group’s sustainability fundraising & business development efforts, supporting global fundraising across the Firms' private markets strategies, and leading sustainability marketing, ensuring high quality marketing materials across private market strategies ( including RFPs) This position is part of the firm's Sustainability Team, which implements the firms overarching sustainability strategy, covering the adherence to global sustainability regulations, is cognizant of our investment portfolio, and represents the considerations across our global client base.
For this specific position we are seeking a candidate with a proven track record in driving sustainability considerations for a global client base from a fundraising and marketing perspective. This role requires strong project management, and a pragmatic mindset to business improvement/optimization, with a passion for driving sustainability in private markets.
Responsibilities
- Fundraising:
- Support global fundraising efforts with on-site presentations, pitches, and deep dives covering our sustainability strategy
- Serve as liaison for Partners Group's global clients and regional fundraising team, to ensure client sustainability priorities are integrated into our sustainability stratetgy, while monitoring global sustainability trends and translate insights into actionable recommendations
- Train client-facing teams to effectively communicate sustainability value propositions
- Marketing & Client Servicing:
- Lead Partners Group's sustainability marketing efforts and deliverables, to represent Partners Group's sustainability strategy, business goals, and regulatory adherence
- Ensure a high-quality service catalogue catering to our global client base by managing a full spectrum of editorial, marketing, and reporting solutions
- Manage, review, and lead timely processing of client requests, RFPs, and bespoke reporting on sustainability, and ensure process efficiency across repetitive requests
- Operations:
- Collaborate with client solutions, structuring, marketing, portfolio management, and various other business units to operationalize fund and client considerations on sustainability, ensuring regulatory compliance and fostering operational efficiencies
- Own and drive strategic projects that support Partners Group's fundraising, drive business development and advance the firm's sustainability strategy and vision. This includes presenting high-impact submissions and strategic recommendations to the firm's executive leadership team and cross-functional committees
For this challenging position we are seeking a candidate with a passion for responsible business strategies and navigating complex sustainability regulations and client requirements. They should have a proven track-record of assessing and pragmatically problem solving for global sustainability strategies/initiatives through streamlined projects.
- Top academic credentials (Master/MBA preferred)
- At least 3-5+ years of sustainability experience in operationalizing and implementing sustainability requirements/strategies across mid-sized businesses from an investment, corporate or consulting role
- A strong understanding of and interest in sustainable investments, private markets, portfolio management, institutional investment, and associated trends
- Excellent ability with Microsoft Office tools, specifically Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook, with a strong foundation of project management skills
- Strong writing skills, flawless command of written English and a solid understanding of the financial industry/private markets. Exceptional verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work within a matrix organization with numerous stakeholders and a global team that is spread out across several offices
- An entrepreneurial and self-directed person, with strong project management skills, who is able to manage and complete tasks independently and effectively in demanding timelines and with competing priorities
- Passionate, highly motivated with a proven ability to handle high workload while delivering zero default
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability and experience interacting with global senior level executives
- Strong oral and written communications skills in English. Proficiency/fluency
