Team Assistant - Private Equity Health and Life

What it's about

To strengthen our business development coordination across asset classes we are seeking a Team Assistant to join the Private Equity Health and Life team within Partners Group, supporting capital formation initiatives, investor relations and business development.


  • Coordinate and support virtual and in-person client events such as client and board meetings.  Have materials ready for each meeting
  • Support event and conference logistics coordination, including booking catering and restaurant orders, as needed.
  • Support investor queries and due diligence requests in coordination with members of the team
  • Maintain and update internal databases and contact information in Outlook
  • Assist with the team's administrative tasks including calendar management of internal and external meetings and travel coordination
  • Process expense reports, and prepare and enter expenses in PG internal expense tool
  • Handle inquiries, screen and route callers, and provide back up to other administrative assistants and front desk, including –where necessary - light office housekeeping
  • Coordinate and support automated high-volume communications to investors and prospects
  • Contribute to the overall Investment Committee (IC) process by preparing weekly meeting agendas, packages and consolidating meeting minutes, as needed.
  • Support members of the team on various firmwide ad hoc projects to improve the team's processes, tools and procedures, as required. This includes partnering with teams across Partner Group's departments, members of management and senior leaders.
What we expect
  • Preferred 4-year Bachelor's degree or equal number of years experience
  • 2-4 years of experience working in a professional environment for a medium to large corporate/financial entity, including interaction with executive and upper-level management as well as institutional clients
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage and motivate others across all levels of seniority
  • Interested in developing and furthering knowledge of financial markets and client management skills, particularly in Private Markets
  • A self-directed person with the ability to manage tasks effectively and complete them within demanding timelines, willing to be accountable for areas of responsibility, and flexible to take on new responsibilities and ad hoc tasks
  • Ability to navigate complexity within a global platform with a team-oriented spirit, strong problem-solving skills and a propensity to seek continuous improvements in processes and tasks.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite, especially PowerPoint, Excel and MS Teams; knowledge of CRM systems is a plus

Partners Group compensation has a long-term outlook and philosophy, and our total compensation emphasizes performance based long term incentives. Base pay range for this role is $50k - $60k with a performance-based annual bonus.
