What it's about

As Regional Head Fund Financing you play an important role in Partners Group’s fund financing team. This role can be based in Broomfield, Colorado or in New York City and the team is responsible for developing financing solutions for Partners Group's investment structures and funds, including subscription-backed credit facilities, bespoke investment specific financing solutions, credit facilities for evergreen investment structures and implementation of letters of credit.

Responsibilities:

  • Independently structuring and negotiating financings across different products and asset classes
  • Maintaining and expanding relationships with lenders, law firms and peers in the Americas
  • Managing team members on day-to-day transactions with particular focus upon the Americas
  • Liaising with portfolio managers and investment teams to develop bespoke financing solutions
  • Formal and informal training of junior team members as well as internal stakeholders
  • Initiating and leading team initiatives and proactively identifying areas for improvement
What we expect
  • 10+ years of fund financing and/or capital markets experience in a leading bank, asset management firm or law firm
  • Proven track record of structuring and negotiating financings across different products and asset classes
  • Excellent understanding of the fund financing markets including detailed understanding of various products (e.g. subscription lines, NAV facilities, etc.) and execution processes
  • Strong understanding and extensive negotiating experience of fund financing documentation, ideally in different markets (Americas, Asia and Europe) and asset classes  
  • Excellent analytical and negotiation skills
  • Strong project management skills and ability to work under pressure
  • Extensive network in the private markets' community, among lenders, GPs and law firms
  • Team worker with self-drive and a strong desire to contribute and make a difference

Partners Group compensation has a long-term outlook and philosophy, and our total compensation emphasizes performance based long term incentives. Base pay range for this role is $225k – $250k and typically a significant performance-based bonus, equity may be a part of the total compensation package as well. Make an impact on the organization by taking a lead role in the growth of our US business.
