Valuation Analyst

What it's about
In this position, you will be part of the Investment Valuation Services team as a Financial Analyst, which is responsible for the investment monitoring and valuation process across our asset classes - Private Equity, Private Debt, Private Infrastructure and Private Real Estate. You will:
- Take responsibility for ongoing monitoring and tracking of the performance of various assets across their investment period
- Perform financial analysis and valuation for our investments across different asset classes using commonly acceptable valuation methodologies
- Prepare valuation report/memo
- Interact with various teams, internally and externally (including service providers, auditors, etc.) related to monitoring and valuation related matters
- Develop deep expertise in private markets valuations
The successful person for this role should have the following:
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in Accounting and/or Finance
- CFA is a plus
- Ideally 1-2 years work experience in the financial industry (within the area of private equity or valuation advisory or accounting), with an understanding of the different categories of equity and debt instruments
- A self-driven/directed, well organized person, able to manage and complete tasks effectively within demanding timelines
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills
- Strong desire to learn and succeed
- Proficient in MS Office and other databases such as Bloomberg, S&P Capital IQ, etc.
