What it's about

In this position, you will be part of the Investment Valuation Services team as a Financial Analyst, which is responsible for the investment monitoring and valuation process across our asset classes - Private Equity, Private Debt, Private Infrastructure and Private Real Estate. You will:

  • Take responsibility for ongoing monitoring and tracking of the performance of various assets across their investment period
  • Perform financial analysis and valuation for our investments across different asset classes using commonly acceptable valuation methodologies
  • Prepare valuation report/memo
  • Interact with various teams, internally and externally (including service providers, auditors, etc.) related to monitoring and valuation related matters
  • Develop deep expertise in private markets valuations
What we expect

The successful person for this role should have the following:

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Accounting and/or Finance
  • CFA is a plus
  • Ideally 1-2 years work experience in the financial industry (within the area of private equity or valuation advisory or accounting), with an understanding of the different categories of equity and debt instruments
  • A self-driven/directed, well organized person, able to manage and complete tasks effectively within demanding timelines
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills
  • Strong desire to learn and succeed
  • Proficient in MS Office and other databases such as Bloomberg, S&P Capital IQ, etc.

  • Partners Group compensation has a long-term outlook and philosophy, and our total compensation emphasizes performance based long term incentives. Base pay range for this role is $83k - 100k and typically a significant performance-based bonus.
