What it's about

 

We are seeking an HR Assistant to join our Regional HR Europe Team in London. The team is responsible for talent acquisition, employee onboarding and offboarding, performance management, compliance with labor laws, payroll and benefits administration, and HR process improvement. 

 

Key areas of the function will be

 

  • Act as the first point of contact for employee-related questions and queries

  • Support the daily operations of HR, including administering and managing operational processes related to onboarding and offboarding, referencing systems, documentation, as well as invoicing and reporting

  • Use HR databases to review and input information on employee movements, such as new hires, transfers, and exits

  • Assist in recruitment and talent acquisition activities within the region

  • Handle employee queries about HR processes, policies, and benefits

  • Build effective working relationships with the local client community and global HR team

  • Liaise with other HR professionals in Switzerland and other locations to ensure consistent application of processes and policies (e.g. on Rewards matters

  • Support global PG and HR projects as needed

  • Assist with the payroll process including monthly and annual employer duties with HMRCEngage in cross-office ad hoc projects, closely collaborating with the teams across Europe

 

What we expect

 

  • Proven experience working in HR operations or a related field for at least 1-2 years, with exposure to HR systems and software. Experience in recruitment and talent acquisition is a plus

  • Bachelor's degree in HR or a related field is preferred

  • Highly organized with solid interpersonal skills

  • Basic knowledge of HR processes and tasks with a focus on efficiency and customer satisfaction

  • Understanding of local labor laws and regulations, and best practice policies and standards

  • Experience using HR databases and systems a plus (SAP SuccessFactors)

  • Effective communication and problem-solving skills

  • Collaborative approach, ability to work in a team environment and effective at developing productive working relationships.
