Private Real Estate Asset Management - Analyst/Associate

The team invests both directly and indirectly in private real estate through dedicated local teams around the globe. Its direct investment activity is focused on acquiring investments with clear value add potential outside of competitive processes through its network of GPs and operating partners. The firm has a consistent track record of fund raising and currently has more than $17bn total AUM in private real estate.
As an Analyst/Associate in the Asset Management team, you would be based in the London office and support senior asset managers on value creation initiatives for actively managed investments, predominantly located in the UK, and in Europe.
- Implement business plans, getting exposure to a pan-European value-add portfolio covering multiple asset classes
- Support the team in identifying, recommending and executing asset management initiatives (leases, capex, re-financings, exits) to capitalize on opportunities and mitigate risks during the hold period
- Assess investment performance in relation to business plan targets by analysing financial models and operator reporting
- Prepare asset management recommendations to the Investment Committee
- Interact with local operating partners, legal/tax/corporate advisors and commercial/technical consultants and agents, as well as with internal teams
This exciting opportunity arises for candidates with the following background:
- Top academic credentials (Master’s/MBA preferred), with a coursework emphasis on Real Estate, Finance, Economics, Engineering and/or Architecture
- Ideally MRICS qualified
- 1-4 years work experience, ideally in a direct real estate investment/asset management related function
- Excellent analytical and modelling skills
- Excellent interpersonal, and problem-solving ability, with strong attention to detail
- Good organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work in a team-oriented environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, ideally with another European language
- Strong work ethic with a desire to learn and succeed
