Senior AML/Investor Services Oversight Officer

What it's about

PG operates a hybrid model with external & internal service providers in place. The oversight task portfolio covers both internal staff and the external providers, you will: 

  • Oversee and support the service providers and global investor services team
  • Be available to the various boards and committees as a subject matter expert 
  • Lead closing committees/investor acceptance committees for investors being on-boarded
  • Supervise and coach junior staff

Your tasks will include:

  • In charge to coordinate and oversee CDD and onboarding matters including authorizing the closing of cases, co-ordination of global standard policies and tools plus review and implementation of new regulations  
  • Ensuring effective risk management and compliance with regulatory, legal and contractual obligations
  • Conducting “4-eyes” reviews of other team members work and documentation "undertaking" and reporting on outsourcing oversight both on internal and external providers 
  • Effective supervision, coaching and development of junior staff
  • Develop, implement and enforce policies, procedures and programs to increase business effectiveness and efficiency whilst minimizing potential money laundering risk
  • Identifying and leading internal system enhancements
  • Ensuring a framework is in place which fosters strong relationships with external and internal stakeholders
  • Develop and maintain a close relationship with the board of directors in order to support and advise them in the smooth running of the various companies

What we expect

This is a professional position suited to a well-educated, experienced and highly organized individual with a minimum of 5 years prior experience in fund administration, financial, legal or banking institutions. You also bring along strong knowledge of AML laws and operation. Prior experience in managing a small team, oversight relationships, project work and a background in Private Equity is a plus. If you are a hard working self-starter with an eye for detail, an open mind-set as well as good inter-personal and communication skills, coupled with a strong desire to learn and develop within a role, then you may well be the person that we are looking for.
