Partners Group is seeking a Finance Applications Specialist to join the global Finance Applications Team (FINAP) which closely interacts with Accounting, Controlling, Treasury, Human Resources and Technology teams across the group.
As a Finance Applications Specialist, based in Manila - Philippines you ensure configuration and day to day support of software products used within Group Finance. We are looking for an experienced SAP FI/CO specialist with extensive skills in systems configuration, implementation and operations and has an excellent Finance business process understanding.

Key Responsibilities:
- Configuration and management (1st and 2nd level support) of SAP Finance Module and other software applications as listed above
- Run/Lead mid, to large-sized projects related to operations, including incident, problem, and request management, as needed
- Provide guidance to end users and other team members
- Proactively identify, implement, test, document and deploy innovative process improvements
- Work with other technical teams to design and integrate Finance systems with other tools
- Investigate and resolve software errors, identify root cause of issues, apply strategies to avoid recurrence and create documentation
- Propose solutions to complex system design and implementation problems
- Ensure service level agreements are met, and performance targets are achieved
- Collaborate with IT departments and other stakeholders to ensure policies and procedures are followed
- Perform other related duties as required or assigned

- Functional and technical knowledge in SAP FI/CO, strong financial acumen in accounting principles, and regulations
- Business process knowledge in Procure-to-Pay (P2P), as well as Record-to-Report (R2R) is essential
- Degree in Information Technology or Finance
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the information technology management
- Strong skills in project management with an ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and able to deliver within time and quality constraints
- Possessing extensive technical knowledge across Finance applications, organizational and business knowledge
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, with an ability to collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements
- Must be able to get things done quickly and very proactively
- The person we are looking for must be outgoing and independent and demonstrate a constant improvement mindset
- This is a (technical) hands-on position and not a Business Analyst position
