IT Incident Management and Resolution Engineer (On-site)

What it's about

As an IT Incident Management and Resolution Engineer - L2, you will act as escalation point of complex issues triaged by our IT Service Desk team (Tier 1) in constant collaboration with our IT Engineering team (Tier 3). You will be part of our Global IT Services team within a dynamic and high-performing organization. 

 

Your main responsibilities include: 

  • Actively participates in the design, deployment, maintenance, monitoring, reporting, and support of MS Cloud components, Windows Server operating systems, cloud applications, and services.
  • Perform routine problem analysis and resolution of issues in our cloud environments.
  • Design projects and solutions for improving the health, security, and automation of our cloud environments across multiple customers.
  • Troubleshoot problems with systems, including troubleshooting hardware and software, communication pathways, and networks. Makes repairs and corrections where required in accordance with SLA guidelines.
  • Participate in design, planning, installation, and support of end-user computer systems, network hardware, software applications, and peripherals.
  • Participates in the planning and implementation of policies and procedures in Cloud environments to ensure system provisioning and maintenance that is consistent with company goals, industry best practices, and regulatory requirements.
  • Exercises independent judgment in the planning, scheduling, organizing, controlling, and monitoring of IT projects.
  • Install patches and upgrades to cloud deployments, server hardware, and/or software to production platforms.
  • Effectively use the Service Desk ticketing system for time tracking, incident and problem management, team/customer interactions, and follow-up.
  • Assist with user and group administration in cloud & on-premises environments, applications, and systems.
What we expect
  • Graduate of a diploma or bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent education with min. 8 years of proven experience in specialized support roles as Systems Engineer / Solutions Engineer

  • MUST HAVE SKILLS: Hands-on experience with MS Azure / MS 365 - designing, deploying, testing, troubleshooting, and managing cloud platforms and architecture.

    o Examples. Azure IAM, Conditional Access, SSO, SharePoint, Exchange, Azure storage accounts, Security, Networking, Auditing/Logging, Optimization, VDI/Terminal Services, Azure AD, MS 365 Administration.

  • Must have refined troubleshooting skills, and the ability to determine the root cause of a problem and identify and resolve systemic problems.
  • Possess excellent communication skills with the demonstrated capabilities to develop strong relationships and strategically manage and influence senior stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to create, document, and follow processes and procedures.
  • Amenable to working full on-site.
  • Helpful certifications: ITIL, Cisco, CompTia, AZ-104, AZ-140 , AZ-303 / AZ-304 , AZ-500
