What it's about

An Investment Structure Professional is a professional with experience in private markets or corporate services industry and effective collaboration skills who is able to independently oversee the financial administration of a portfolio of investment structure companies (SPVs) and will be able to both identify issues and develop solutions.

 

Key duties:

  • Able to oversee the operation of a portfolio of SPVs by external administrators, ensuring consistently high levels of quality
  • Acts as first point of contact for investment teams, auditors and external administrators for investment structures under his/her responsibility.
  • Coordinates SPV processes with internal stakeholders and external administrators to ensure that all operational, regulatory and/or tax filings on a global basis have been completed and submitted by their respective deadlines.
  • Knowledge and credibility, where applicable, to hold board seats of SPVs.
  • Portfolio/High level review of Net Asset Value packages prepared by external service providers
  • Coordinates year-end audit process with service providers, including preparation of annual financial statements in accordance with local GAAP / IFRS.
  • Engages in Business Unit-wide process improvement initiatives.
  • Inputs data entries into PG systems.
  • Assists in the development and maintenance of best practices for the Investment Structure Services team, ensuring and improving the quality of ongoing operations.
  • Keeps procedures and education material up to date.

What we expect

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business Administration; CPA preferred
  • 3-5 years of accounting or audit experience
  • A proficient level of knowledge and understanding of private markets and corporate administration
  • Independent development of solutions to issues encountered, with processes and tools
  • Ability to operate effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary and multi-jurisdictional team
  • Consistently demonstrates high standards in the execution of, and adherence to, relevant processes and procedures
  • Good collaborator with ability to bring individuals together to generate solutions
