Partners Group's Closed-Ended Fund Control team is seeking to hire a talented Lead Fund Controller to join our growing Manila team. You will play a vital role in oversight of Depositary Services, ensuring proper oversight control of our private equity funds, particularly for closed-ended comingled funds and mandates. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate with a dynamic global team and contribute to the continued success of Partners Group.
- Oversight of the Depositary Services function responsible for supporting Partners Group's compliance with Depositary tasks under the AIFM regime, in particular: Depositary Operations and Investment Documentation Management.
- Reviews and approve Net Asset Values and Financial Statements for closed-ended comingled funds and mandates prepared by external service providers. Including monitoring performance and rationalizing the NAV movement within the portfolio, by overseeing financial controls and reporting.
- Operation and enhancement of firm-wide private markets models and systems.
- Ensure completeness, accuracy and timeliness of legal and regulatory deliverables to our clients.
- Assist third-party partners associated with our funds, including auditors, fund administrators, and custodians, by coordinating workflows and reviewing deliverables.
- Become a key product expert within the firm for assigned funds (operations, accounting, reporting, hedging, valuations, new product onboarding, service provider oversight).
- Foster open communication and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to achieve optimal results.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives across the business unit or department.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting; CPA preferred.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant working experience including extensive experience in coordinating and driving Service Providers, experience in accounting, controlling or financial audit functions; experience in private markets fund accounting is a plus.
- Passion for numbers and quantitative analysis.
