Platform Compliance Officer (Risk Advisory/Assurance)

What it's about

You will be part of Partners Group's Compliance team in Manila. In this role, you will serve as a Platform Compliance Officer in the Compliance Monitoring and Testing team responsible for assessing compliance risks and controls implemented by the first and second line of defence.


Main responsibilities

  • Developing, implementing and executing Compliance monitoring and testing activities within the Platform Compliance team in accordance with the Compliance Monitoring Plan
  • Analysing, documenting and reporting of Compliance reviews done in accordance with the Compliance Monitoring Plan
  • Developing effective relationships within the Compliance team and various internal stakeholders including process owners
  • Identifying industry best practices and share insights with the Compliance team
  • Collaboration with regulatory Compliance Officers to discuss potential topics for new or to be improved controls, implementing the controls and providing reporting on the findings
  • Providing constructive feedback to global employees to achieve desired service levels in addressing all kind of compliance queries
  • Addressing queries raised by colleagues and fostering a compliance mind set
  • Provide training to the necessary internal stakeholders
What we expect
  • We are looking for someone with a bachelor's degree. Preferably a CPA and/or CIA.
  • You should have 5-7 years of working experience in the areas of compliance, internal/external audit or risk. A background in the financial services industry is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills in English (both written and verbal) are essential for this role.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills that allow you to easily develop and maintain effective relationships with all levels of the organization
  • Ability to work efficiently and independently
  • Fast learner with strong analytical, methodical and problem-solving skills. You should also be able to work independently, implement processes and procedures successfully.
  • Good computer skills and be proficient in MS Office suite
