Are you passionate about finance and operations? Do you want to be a part of a dynamic and collaborative team? We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic Regulatory and/or Collateral Management Operations Team Member to join our team in Manila.

 

As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to learn and grow in a supportive environment while working closely with experienced professionals in finance and operations. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of our regulatory and collateral management operations, contributing to the overall success of our organization.

 

Our team supports the operations in multiple asset classes - Foreign exchange, Equity and Fixed income, OTC options, and the following key responsibilities of this role are:

 

  • Managing the daily collateral activities (cash only pledge) to reduce counterparty exposure risk including onboarding of new funds and counterparties – issuing and responding to margin calls, resolving disputes, processing monthly interest either via Acadia or manually via emails.
  • Onboarding of new agreements into the collateral tool and monitoring thresholds with subsequent adjustment of the systems static data.
  • Daily reporting of trades, valuations and collateral under EMIR, MAS and ASIC – ensuring all trades are reported timely and accurately, which also includes handling and resolution of rejected submission.
  • Portfolio Reconciliation in TriResolve and timely follow up of unmatched items

What we expect

We are on the lookout for a talented individual with a degree or professional qualification and 3 - 4 years of experience in the middle/back office of an investment bank, asset manager, or financial institution. The ideal candidate will be organized, reliable, and possess an efficient, detail-oriented approach to their work. Additionally, a clear and effective communication style, coupled with a flexible and team-oriented mindset, will be vital for success in this role. Knowledge of Lean / Six Sigma practices will be an advantage, showcasing your commitment to process excellence and continuous improvement.
