Senior Accountant | 12 months contract

What it's about

 

Main Responsibilities

 

  • Independently responsible for accurately and timely financial closings at the local level (local GAAP and IFRS) of Luxembourg and Guernsey General Partners’ entities
  • Independently responsible for interim and year-end audit process including preparation of annual financial statements in accordance with local GAAP
  • Independently responsible for tax, regulatory and compliance monitoring and reporting
  • Responsible for critical/centralised task of investment related reporting (“Transaction Income”)
  • Resolve/reconcile accounting discrepancies and coordinate with team members as necessary
  • Monitor timely payment of capital calls performed by accountants
  • Maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately in accordance with company policy and accepted accounting practices
  • Assist in finance and accounting projects as assigned by local management

 

 

What we expect

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or relevant accounting professional qualifications 
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in a similar position 
  • Reliable and trustworthy 
  • Good analytical skills 
  • Excellent attention to detail 
  • Ability to adhere to strict deadlines 
  • Professional judgment in processing complex transactions 
  • Accurate, diligent, and independent working style 
  • Strong desire to learn and succeed 
  • Strong interpersonal skills 
  • Excellent English communication skills 
  • Proficiency in MS Office 
  • Experience in SAP system (required) 
  • Knowledge of Blackline and TRM (SAP Transaction Manager) (preferred)
