Partners Group is seeking a Senior Finance Applications Specialist to join the global Finance Applications Team (FINAP) which closely interacts with Accounting, Controlling, Treasury, Human Resources and Technology teams across the group.
As a Senior Finance Applications Specialist, based in Manila, Philippines, you will be managing technical teams to achieve project goals. You ensure delivery and day to day support of software products that are efficient and meet the business requirements. You are a proven leader with extensive experience in software or systems development, implementation and operations.
Proven hands-on experience with software tools as mentioned below is a very big plus and highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of several Application Specialists, providing overall direction and guidance.
- Lead the configuration and management of new and existing software applications according to defined business requirements.
- Run/Lead mid to large-sized projects related to operations, including incident, problem, and request management, as needed.
- Provide guidance to project team members.
- Develop and refine software application configuration processes and procedures.
- Work with other technical teams to design and integrate Finance systems.
- Investigate and resolve Finance applications software errors, identify root cause of issues, and determine strategies to avoid recurrence.
- Propose solutions to complex system design and implementation problems.
- Ensure appropriate testing, evaluation, and implementation of Finance systems.
- Ensure service level agreements are met, and performance targets are achieved.
- Proactively provide innovative ideas on problems encountered and seek to enhance existing processes.
- Collaborate with IT departments and other stakeholders to ensure IT policy and procedures are followed.
- Perform other related duties as required or assigned.
- Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in the finance systems industry or information technology management.
- Experience in leading a team, providing coaching, feedback, delegation and to define and monitor staff goals.
- Experience leading and managing project teams.
- Strong skills in project management with an ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and able to deliver within time and quality constraints.
- Possessing extensive technical knowledge across Finance applications, organizational and business knowledge.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, with an ability to collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and manage expectations.
- Strong financial acumen, functional and technical knowledge of different Finance ERP systems accounting principles, and regulations.
