What it's about

The IT Service Delivery Manager (SDM) drives the IT Service Management (ITSM) strategic alignment and drives the implementation of the technology (ITSM Tool) needs for the organization.


Key responsibilities:

•Coordinate and build ITIL focused teams of qualified individuals to support growing demand for Incident, Problem, Change, Ser vic e Catalog, Knowledge, Configuration and Service Level Management
•Act as the Key Subject Matter Expert for ITSM and IT Service Delivery to ensure alignment of all processes, deliverables and SLA ’s
•Work with business leaders to build business requirements for the ITSM tool
•Act as functional and technical owner of the ServiceNow environment to prioritize and drive critical functionality according to the requirements within the organization
•Lead the technical ITSM Tool implementation to support the IT service delivery of business product and service offering development to meet the organization’s strategic ambitions
•Lead IT Process Owners to create new ways of monitoring and managing Service Delivery outcomes
•Ensure the quality of delivery to end user facing services provided by through IT Services
•Work with the Service Delivery Process Owners to develop, implement and review operational policies and procedure
•Empower IT Service Delivery teams to develop process performance and maturity targets
•Ensure IT Process Owners define and schedule IT process assessments and audits
•Ensure IT Process Owners develop their strategic process roadmap of initiatives and capabilities development
•Mentor and empower IT Process Owners to be thought leaders and influencers
•Resolve conflicts over priorities within and across IT Service Delivery teams


What we expect

•The ideal candidate would possess at least a Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) from a university
•Minimum of 5 years of experience either managing a global or a very large IT Service Delivery unit.
•Demonstrated ability to navigate complex organizations and build consensus on priorities
•Deep, intuitive understanding of technology trends and capabilities trending on the market
•Experience delivering technology to meet business needs
•Ability to train and guide Service Delivery owners and their teams
•Ideal candidate will be well versed in ITIL best practices

•Demonstrated ability to navigate complex organizations and build consensus on priorities
•Political awareness, well experienced in communicating the benefits of ITIL in maturing IT Service
•Superior interpersonal communication skills (written, verbal and presentation).
•Excellent negotiation, influencing and facilitation skills.
