What it's about


We are seeking an accomplished professional to join our Financial Reporting Team based in Manila. The job role entails coordination of the global product audits, preparation of financial statements, and managing reporting duties for investors and financial institutions. The successful candidate will work closely with the team based in Manila as well as Zug, as well as various internal and external stakeholders in a global setting on various financial reporting technical topics and while providing external audit support.

 

Responsibilities include:

  • Ensure and manage the accurate and timely preparation of financial statements by external service providers in alignment with IFRS, US GAAP, and Lux GAAP, including preparation of note disclosures.
  • Review financial statements prepared internally and externally by our service provider, while also acting as a subject matter expert in certain accounting technical topics.
  • Oversee the technical tools supporting notes disclosures.
  • Actively collaborate with auditors and other internal and external stakeholders and work together to identify effective solutions for any challenges and issues identified.
  • Understanding of processes, roles, and responsibilities across the Financial Reporting team and within the Product Reporting business unit.
  • Contribute to ongoing projects for process, system, and control enhancements.
  • Active collaboration with diverse internal and external stakeholders across the globe to facilitate audit coordination and ensure timely approval of financial statements.
  • Support internal and external client communication.

 

What we expect

 

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
  • At least 4 years of financial services experience, placing emphasis on comprehensive technical knowledge of reporting standards, particularly IFRS.
  • Demonstrated expertise in alternative investment financial reporting and interpretation of various accounting/reporting standards.
  • Aptitude for collaborating with external service providers to ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Proactive and detail-oriented with a track record of independent work.
  • Proven contribution to process, systems, and/or control improvements within the financial services industry.
  • Effective communicator with a strong collaborative approach well-suited for an international environment.
  • Attention to detail, with an entrepreneurial, proactive, and a solution-driven mindset.
  • Proficient in English.
