Senior Trade Operations Specialist - Night Shift (Experienced Supervisor/Entry-level Manager)

As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to shine as individual contributor as well as work with experienced professionals in finance and operations. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of our pre- and post-trade operations, contributing to the overall success of our organization.

  • Trade affirmation with counterparties in multiple asset classes
  • Managing and resolving trade breaks, settlement issues, missing confirmations, position statements
  • Agreeing and managing FX settlements (gross and net)
  • Handling of interest claims on late settled trades, investigating the route-cause and minimizing the loss to our client or firm
  • Daily reconciliation of holdings, cash balance and underlying transaction against custodian data
  • Trade life cycle activities: corporate actions, income reconciliations and OTC option exercise/expiry
  • Collateral management of variation margin (cash only pledge) to reduce counterparty exposure risk
  • Daily portfolio reconciliation, derivatives transaction reporting and breaks reconciliation to ensure compliance with regulations (EMIR, MAS, MiFID)
  • Onboarding of portfolios with various counterparties or custodians
  • Relationship building and management with external and internal stakeholders
  • Projects and process improvements
What we expect

We are on the lookout for a talented individual with a degree or professional qualification and minimum 12 years of solid experience in the middle/back office of an investment bank, asset manager, or financial institution. The ideal candidate will be organized, reliable, and possess an efficient, detail-oriented approach to their work. Additionally, a clear and effective communication style, coupled with a flexible and team-oriented mindset, will be vital for success in this role. Knowledge of Lean / Six Sigma practices will be an advantage, showcasing your commitment to process excellence and continuous improvement.The candidate must also be amenable to doing night shift (8PM-5AM)
