Trade Operations Analyst (Equity & Fixed Income)

As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to learn and grow in a supportive environment while working closely with experienced professionals in finance and operations. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of our pre- and post-trade operations, contributing to the overall success of our organization.
Our team supports the operations in multiple asset classes - Equity and Fixed income, OTC options, foreign exchange with the following key responsibilities:
- Daily reconciliation of trades against counterparty confirmations and prompt resolution of breaks, escalation when necessary
- Daily trade reporting to custodians and administrators
- Daily reconciliation of holdings against custodian data and prompt resolution of breaks, escalation when necessary
- Reconciliation of select funds cash balance and underlying transaction reconciliation against custodian data and prompt resolution of breaks
- Processing of stock transfers / distributions in kind
- Managing the daily collateral activities (cash only pledge) to reduce counterparty exposure risk including onboarding of new funds and counterparties
- Handling of interest claims received and issued on late settled FX, Equity or Fixed income trades, investigating the route-cause and minimizing the loss to client or firm
- Onboarding of counterparties for trading into our systems, ensuring all static data
We are on the lookout for a talented individual with a degree or professional qualification and 2-5 years of experience in the middle/back office of an investment bank, asset manager, or financial institution. The ideal candidate will be organized, reliable, and possess an efficient, detail-oriented approach to their work. Additionally, a clear and effective communication style, coupled with a flexible and team-oriented mindset, will be vital for success in this role. Knowledge of Lean / Six Sigma practices will be an advantage, showcasing your commitment to process excellence and continuous improvement.
